A few tools and tips on time management.
Planner
Create a master task list with tasks that need to be completed both as a college student and for your personal life.
Take that Master task list and focus on the big items, I like to call them the big Rocks such as assignments, projects and upcoming exams paying attention to due dates and times.
Plot your task on a calendar starting with the most important tasks, then fill in with personal items along with activities to maintain good health.
Ensure that you have a good understanding of assignments and make the time to meet with your instructor to answer or clarify any questions you may have that would keep you from completing your assignments on time.
Ensure you schedule time during your week or on the weekend to study for any upcoming exams.
After each day/week revisit your tasks list to ensure that you are on point with meeting or completing your assignments and projects.
Now for the tools that will help you accomplish the tasks. We can divide the tools in to two segments technology and non-technology
Technology

Microsoft outlook calendars, making appointments on your calendars to complete tasks and plot assignments due dates and upcoming exams.
You can set reminders on the calendars and sync the calendars to your mobile phone.
The most overlooked item for time management is a wrist watch, most people depend on their phones as a time piece. There are time when students are not allowed to have their phone nearby, especially during exam time. You will need your wrist watch to keep time while taking exams.
Ipads Ensure that all of the devices are synced so that calendar alerts will appear on all devices.
Non-Technology

Have a planner, this will help to plot your tasks and create a time line.
Note book for taking notes and jotting down ideas
Having a white board in your room will help you stay focused especially if you are a visual person who needs visual aid to stay on task.
A bulletin board for flyers and sticky notes as quick reminders.
Now that we’ve taking care of the assignments and set calendar reminders we will need to schedule time for recreation, meals, exercise and rest.

Ensure that you make time on your calendars around the same time every day for meals, exercise and rest.
